DRESS CODE

All students are expected to exemplify proper grooming standards in a manner that projects an
appropriate image for the student, school, and district at all times.

Dress Code Policy

Shirts

  • School-issued polo shirt with school insignia

  • Wearing a long-sleeved shirt under the polo is acceptable


Cardigans

  • School-issued Cardigan with school insignia worn over the polo


Pants

  • School-issued black dress pants or skorts


Footwear

  • Shoes/boots must have closed toes and backs

  • Clogs or Croc-style shoes are not allowed

  • House shoes or slippers are not allowed


Headwear

  • Head covering such as scarves and hats without a brim are allowed

  • Sleeping scarves/bonnets are not allowed

Backpacks, purses, and handbags are not allowed in classrooms. These items must be stored in the
students locker at all times.

Special Dress Days
There will be days designated as Dress Down or Free Dress days. Students and Advocates will be notified when these days occur, and acceptable dress will be described. Clara B. Ford Academy school issued jogging pants and shirts are acceptable attire on selected casual dress Fridays and/or Dress Down Days.
