DRESS CODE

All students are expected to maintain personal appearance standards that reflect a positive and appropriate image of themselves, the school, and the district at all times.

Dress Code Policy

Shirts

  • Residential Students: School-issued polo shirt with school insignia.​​

  • Community Students: Black or white polo shirt.

  • Wearing a long-sleeved shirt under the polo is acceptable.


Sweatshirt

  • Residential Students: A plain black, school-issued sweatshirt can be worn over or under the polo. No hoodies are allowed.

  • Community Students: A crew neck sweatshirt can be worn over or under the polo. No hoodies are allowed.


Pants/Skort

  • Residential Students: School-issued black dress pants or skorts.

  • Community Students: Khaki dress pants, skirts, or skorts. Jeans, leggings, jeggings, yoga pants, or jogging pants are not allowed.


Footwear

  • Shoes/boots must have closed toes and backs

  • Clogs or Croc style shoes are not allowed

  • House shoes or slippers are not allowed


Headwear

  • Head coverings such as scarves and hats without a brim are allowed

  • Sleeping scarves/bonnets are not allowed

Backpacks, Purses, Handbags, Etc.

Backpacks, purses, handbags, etc., are not allowed in classrooms. These items must be stored in the students' lockers at all times.

Special Dress Days

These special occasions are approved by CBF Administration throughout the year. In these instances, at least the day before, a flyer stipulating the approved attire will be communicated to students and Student Advocates.

Special Circumstances

If a medical issue prevents a student from comfortably wearing the school uniform, please have a medical professional or student advocate contact School Leadership to discuss the uniform issue.​
